Five Minute Legacy is in private beta on iPhone. The App Store and Google Play versions are coming soon.

Delete your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in the app.

1. Open Five Minute Legacy and go to Settings. (With the simple menu, tap More, then Settings.)
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, just below Sign out.
3. If you'd like a copy first, tap Download everything.
4. Type DELETE in the box, tap Delete my account forever, then Delete it to confirm.

This is permanent. It removes your stories, recordings, photos, letters, recipes and Vault, and your family's links to you. Daily texts and calls stop right away. Backups are overwritten within 35 days.

Can't open the app? Email info@fiveminutelegacy.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.

Text messages

If you get your daily question by text, reply to any message with:

• STOPStop all texts.
• STARTStart texts again.
• HELPGet help by text.
• NEXTGet a different question.

You can also turn texts on or off in the app, in Settings. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How text message opt-in works

Download everything

In the app, go to Settings and tap Download everything. You'll get one zip file with your stories, recordings and photos. The download link works for 7 days.

Privacy and terms

Your stories are private until you choose to share them. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
